AGTA SPECTRUM AWARDS 2019

AGTA TUCSON GEMFAIR
FEBRUARY, 2020

We arrived at the Tucson Convention center with our heavy cases filled with display items, banners, supplies and fine jewelry. White carpet, white walls, and crystal chandeliers adorned the ballroom. The excitement hit us when we saw the booth labeled “Almut Belote Jewelry”. A Spectrum Award Winner sign also identified the booth.

We started right away, unpacking, hanging banners, and designing our showcases. The room was bustling with other designers and wholesalers doing the same. In the evening, the jewelry was locked up in a highly secured police patrolled area called “The Vault”. The next six mornings we signed out our precious merchandise to display for buyers and industry leaders from across the world to view and purchase.

Almut was awarded an Honorable Mention for her handcrafted Tourmaline pendant necklace. It was displayed in the ballroom for buyers and designers to view alongside the other winners. In addition to an Honorable Mention, Almut won the most coveted honor of the event, the Buyer’s Choice award and was presented with a trophy at the AGTA Spectrum Awards Gala.

Winning an AGTA Spectrum Award is an unparalleled honor. The award is the most respected creative competition of the colored gemstone and cultured pearl industry.
Congrats to Almut and our team!
